A Funeral Service for Donald T. Trudeau, age 92, will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 3p.m. at Frary Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held prior to the service on Friday from noon up until the service. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Mr. Trudeau passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at his home in Tupper Lake surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his children, Donna Barnoskie and her husband Paul of Rochester, N.Y.; Lynn Nadeau and her husband Richard of Tupper Lake; Kellie Trudeau and her husband John of Tupper Lake; Brent and his wife Janice of Rochester, N.Y.; a brother, David Trudeau and his partner Donald Walters of Ogdensburg, N.Y.; a daughter-in-law Sylvia Trudeau, of Tupper Lake; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. HHHHe was pre-deceased by his wife, Juliette Trudeau, his parents, his son, Craig Trudeau and his brother, Maurice “Butch” Trudeau.
He was born on May 18, 1932 in Tupper Lake, the son of Edgar M. and Aurora Lanthier Trudeau. He married Juliette Duplantie on May 2, 1959.
Don worked for the Village of Tupper Lake Electric Department for over 34 years, retiring as an electrical superintendent in 1991. He was a member of the Adirondack Adult Center, Tupper Lake Fire Department, and a member of the Tupper Lake VFW.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards (especially cribbage), and spending time with his family.
