Roger "Luke" LaClair, 86, of Tupper Lake peacefully passed away at Mercy Living Center on November 11, 2020 with his loving family by his side.

Luke was born in Sutton, Vermont on March 4, 1934 to Roy and Winona (Niles) LaClair. After proudly serving in the US Marines from 1953-1956, he returned to Tupper Lake and after a short time opened what was known as "Luke's Mobil Station".

Aside from spending time with his family, he loved his hunting weekends at Buck-A-Year hunting Club, where he was a member for over 50 years. In the summer months, he enjoyed playing in the Tuesday Night Men's League at the Tupper Lake Golf Course.

He is survived by his wife, Louella, who he reacquainted with and married 53 years after their prom date.

He is also survived by his son Dean and his life partner Debbie Sharpe of Tupper Lake; his granddaughters, Rebecca Murphy and Sarah Filion; his grandson Maxwell; two great-grandchildren, Logan and Laila Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.

Aside from his parents, Luke was predeceased by his brother Neil and sister Barbara (LaClair) Pickering.

He was known for his honesty and loyalty to his many customers whom he considered family.

Rest in Peace, Luke
