Patrick Cote

Funeral services for Patrick Cote, age 69, of Tupper Lake, will be held at Frary Funeral home, in Tupper Lake, on Friday, May 23rd from 4 p.m. up until the time of the service, at 6 p.m. Mr. Cote passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Cote, of Tupper Lake and his companion Erica Stevens, of Tupper Lake; his grandchildren, Chase Cote, of Peru, N.Y. and Macie Taylor, of Lake Clear; his stepdaughter, Gwen Mayotte, of Tupper Lake; his best friend, Jeff Mayotte, of Tupper Lake; and several cousins. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother, John Cote.

Patrick was born on May 26, 1955, in Tupper Lake, the son of Theodore and Mary Sexton Cote.

He graduated from Tupper Lake Central School and went on to become an electrician. He worked for Tip Top Electric for many years and later worked for Day Wholesale for over 20 years. Pat was still currently working with Day Wholesale.

He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, especially spending time outdoors. Whether he was fishing on a quiet lake, boating under the open sky, or taking leisurely rides through the countryside, he found joy in nature and adventure. He had a passion for building, always working on projects big and small with care and creativity. Above all, he cherished time with his family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, love, and connection.
