Jinette “Carmen” Vaillancourt

Jinette Carmen Vaillancourt passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, in the Villages F.L. surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Jinette was born September 29, 1951 in Colebrook, N.H. to Robert LaVenture and Georgette Gauvreau.

Jinette is survived by her husband, Gilles Vaillancourt; her mother Georgette Gauvreau; her daughter Nicolle Todd and her husband Michael, her son Shawn Vaillancourt; her siblings, Rolande “Tunnie” Robillard, Leo LaVenture and, Robert LaVenture Jr.; her grandchildren Jenifer Harris and her partner Donovan Croker, Ashley Harris, Taylor Pellerin, Sawyer and Parker Vaillancourt; her great grandson Lincoln Croker; along with many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her father, and brother Roland LaVenture.

Jinette can be remembered as a woman of action and purpose—a “no-nonsense” figure who worked tirelessly. She was also known for her selflessness, often willing to give you the shirt off her back if you needed it, yet she lived with a practical foresight that ensured her family always had what they needed. Her remarkable work ethic, resourcefulness, and independence showed everyone who met her what it meant to live a full and meaningful life.

However beneath her determined exterior, she can mostly be remembered for her warm affection.

Jinette leaves behind a legacy of unwavering strength, compassion, and dedication that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Whether offering encouragement, wisdom, laughter or love; she had a way of bringing people together, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

Jinette “Carmen” Vaillancourt’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and the power of connection. She will be deeply missed, in the hearts of her family and the countless lives she touched.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all who have shared their sentiments and memories of Jinette.
