Joan Reandeau, 87

Joan Elizabeth Reandeau, 87, a lifelong Tupper Lake resident, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on January 7, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Joan was born in Tupper Lake on March 26th, 1937 and attended Tupper Lake schools. She met the love of her life, Earl, in 1954 and they became husband and wife in 1956.

Joan had many loves in her life; she loved country music, especially Waylon Jennings. She loved watching her husband Earl play the guitar. She also loves antiques, sitting on her front porch swing and her precious dog Shadow.

Joan loved her family and enjoyed raising their three children, Glenda, Julie and Michael. Most days, you could find Joan sitting in booth #1 at Reandeau's Swiss Kitchen, where she would visit with her many friends, sipping coffee, doing crossword puzzles and watching her children run the restaurant.

Joan was predeceased in death by her husband, Earl, her daughter Glenda and her grand-daughter Mary Cote. She is survived by her children Julie Lavoy (Walt) and Michael Reandeau, grandchildren Amber Beaudette, Amanda Kelly, Michael Kelly, Jesse Reandeau, Jennifer Cote and Craig LoPiccolo, along with numerous great grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service for Joan took place at the Frary Funeral Home in Tupper Lake, NY on Friday, January, 10, 2025 with Deacon Jim Ellis officiating the funeral service. A spring Burial will follow this coming May at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with Earl on the family plot.
