Mary Reddan, 64
Dan McClelland
Mary Liberty Cook Reddan, 64, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 530 am at Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone NY. She was surrounded by family and friends. Her identical twin sister Catherine Vaillancourt was there with her holding her hand as the angels came to bring her home to be with her heavenly Father.
Born on November 20, 1959, to Barbara A Semon and Patrick Joseph Reddan Jr. And was raised by Aida and Patrick Joesph Reddan Jr.
Mary enjoyed going out to local restaurants and spending time with her friends in her home. She also enjoyed traveling to see her twin Cathy in MO and her youngest son Stephen and his young daughters in Connecticut. She was eternally grateful for the chance to reconnect with those she loved so that her family could be restored and full.
Mary loved her family deeply and felt so blessed to have the chance to spend that time with them. Mary especially loved her cat companion Rascal who will be buried with Mary so they could spend all their heavenly days together. Mary found solace in her worship of her Lord and Savior.
She will be remembered by those who knew her best as a beautiful light that shone through even the darkest times in her life. Mary was without a doubt a strong, resilient, loyal and lovingly stubborn woman (lol) anyone who knew her, loved her for it.
She is survived by two sons, James Liberty and Navy Seals Veteran Stephen Cook-Buskirk. her three sisters, Anita Velasquez, Debra Feher and Catherine Vaillancourt, and a half brother, Alec (AJ) Warner. She is also survived by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply. She is also survived by an aunt Anna Obst and cousin Thomas Obst.
She was predeceased by her parents Barbara Semon, Patrick Reddan Jr., and Aida Reddan, a half brother, Air Force Veteran Samual Robert Warner, her daughter Jennifer Liberty and cousin Theresa Obst both in 2019.
Due to Cathy's medical issues Cathy and family will hold a celebration of Mary's life with former paster Richard Ducutt of New Hope Fellowship Church in Lake placid on June 14, 2025.
