Steven J. Farnsworth, 53
It is with a heavy heart the family of Steven J. Farnsworth, age 53, announce his passing on November 19th, 2024. He died at home, surrounded by his loved ones.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th, 2024 from 3p.m. to 7p.m. at the Frary Funeral Home in Tupper Lake, with a gathering at the Trail's End immediately afterward, with food and drinks for family and friends.
Steven was born on April 11, 1971 in Watertown, N.Y. and attended local schools in Tupper Lake. His mother Irene Schaniel and father Carl Farnsworth raised a very quiet and private son. Steven was known for being a skilled craftsman and finishing carpenter.
Anyone who knew Steven knew he loved the outdoors and driving fast! One of Steven's greatest passions was riding his motorcycles with his brothers from Raquette River Riders and other motorcycle clubs from the surrounding area. Steven especially liked taking part in benefit rides supporting other clubs and local people with needs.
Steven was always willing to help others. Steven also loved spending time on his boat fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends, including his beloved dog and cat Quincey Marie and Precious.
Steven enjoyed getting out with his wife to go camping and always making a pit stop to go to the casino and play the slots.
Steven is survived by his beloved wife Linda and his step-children, Gwen Mayotte and Matthew Cote, both of Tupper Lake, his parents, Irene Schaniel and Carl Farnsworth both of Tupper Lake, his only sister Armanda (Farnsworth) Locke and her significant other Chris Gagnon.
Steven is also survived by his children- a son, Reese Bradley of Tupper Lake and a daughter, Brooke Miller of Oregon. He also leaves behind a special niece, Kailyn Exware a.k.a. "Sweet-Pea" and her significant other Ryeleigh Shore and a special nephew, Caleb Exware a.k.a. "Monster" and his significant other Sierra Moody. Steven also had five step-grandchildren, one step-great grand-daughter, whom he loved with all his heart, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was predeceased by Steven Akey, grandparents Armand and Patricia Mitchell, Earl and Edith Farnsworth, his daughter Rouchelle Farnsworth and his beloved pet dog, Quincey Marie.
