Funeral services for Douglass B. Jansson, age 72, of Tupper Lake, were held on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 4p.m. at Frary Funeral Home with Rev. James Teti officiating.
Calling hours were held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 2p.m. up until the time of the service. Mr. Jansson died on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 with his beloved wife of 37 years, Amy and daughter Janelle, by his side.
He was born on March 25, 1951, in Port Jefferson, New York, the son of the late George and Winifred (Truman) Jansson. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1971 at the age of 20. He enjoyed being on the water in his boat and polishing his Harley.
Doug is survived by “his girls”- Amy and Janelle (Matt) of Tupper Lake; daughter, Keri Ann of Florida; son, Jason (Kelly) of Tupper Lake; two granddaughters, Payton and Mariah, also of Tupper Lake; and sister, Carol of Patchogue, New York.
