Jennifer Rice, 27
At the young age of 27, Jennifer Lee Rice passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
She was pre-deceased in death by her grandparents Charles and Marie Rice and her grandfather Richard Ayotte.
Born on February 15, 1995, in Saranac Lake, Jennifer was the youngest child of Robert and Tammy Rice.
Raised in Tupper Lake, Jennifer played soccer at the Tupper Lake High School. Jennifer loved spending time with her family, friends and her three dogs, Bronx, Maggie and Brooklyn Rose.
Jennifer had various jobs throughout her adulthood. Jennifer was a big lover of the outdoors and would spend her summers camping, fishing and kayaking. Jennifer enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, writing, drawing, crafts, singing, dancing. Her favorite past times was making TikToks.
Jennifer’s motto was, do everything with a kind heart and never expect anything in return and you will never be disappointed. She would help anyone in need, not because of who they were or what she would get in return but because of who she was. As a sister, Jennifer had qualities of honesty, loyalty and trustworthiness.
Jennifer accomplished many things within her short life and faced every challenge head on with so much strength, humor and determination. She was kind, compassionate, strong, loving, bright with a great sense of humor. Jennifer had a contagious smile that would light up a room and infectious laugh that was guaranteed to brighten your day.
Jennifer is survived by her loving parents, Robert and Tammy Rice, her sister’s Nicole Rice and her partner Timothy Larkin, Jessica Rice and fiancée Corey Casciaro, Kayla Taylor and her partner Joshua Lyons, her brother Matthew Rice and fiancée Presious Johnson, grandmother Shirley Ayotte, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Calling hours will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11a.m to 1p.m at Frary Funeral home in Tupper Lake, followed by a graveside burial at the Holy Name Cemetery and a celebration of life will be held at the VFW.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jennifer Rice’s name at the Tupper Lake Rescue Squad.
