Charlotte Doreen Sutliffe of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on July 15, 2021 at the age of 92. She was born on November 9, 1928 in Tupper Lake, where she grew up and loved more than any place she ever lived.
She graduated from Hialeah High School in Miami, Florida.
She owned the Trails End Bar prior to giving it to her son “Beard”.
She was actively involved in partying!
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob and daughter Cynthia.
She is survived by her daughters Karen and Susan, her sons Mark “Beard” and John, her granddaughter Briggette and her great grandsons Mason and Lucas.
The family would like to thank Vitas Healthcare for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days. Her Aide Marie became her best friend. She also very much loved her Nurse Melissa and her administrator and confidante Leslie. These people routinely visited her which allowed her to remain in the home she loved so much.
Her cremated remains will be flown to Tupper Lake, at the end of September where she will be interred in her 200 year old family plot in the St’ Alphonsus Cemetery. Celebration of Life will follow at the Trails End Bar. Date and time TBA.
