Susan Patricia (Burnett) Keegan, 68

Susan Patricia (Burnett) Keegan, 68, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2019 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake surrounded by her family.

She had been a resident of Sunmount in Long Lake for 16 years, where she was loved by all who cared for her.

Born in Tupper Lake on May 29, 1950, Susan was the daughter of the late Amy and Albert Burnett.

Susan was married to Charles Keegan on June 11 1989 in Tupper Lake. She lived a happy life until his passing on February 1, 1995.

Susan loved her family visits, Elvis, putting puzzles together, and doing ceramics. Susan loved jewelry. Susan had a smile that lit up a room. She was a gentle soul.

Susan is pre-deceased by her husband, Charles Keegan, her mother Amy Burnett, a brother Arthur Burnett, and Richard Burnett, and her sister Christina Miller.

She is survived by her sisters Carol LaCourse, Sharon Sauve, and Dianne Boyer and brothers Stuart Burnett, Gerald Burnett, Wayne Burnett, Alan Burnett, Roger Burnett, and Robert Burnett and many nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made in Susan’s name to the Long Lake Rescue Squad in Long Lake.

Susan will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
