Memorial Services for Norma Jean Parry, age 92, of Tupper Lake, will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 2p.m. at Frary-Stuart Funeral Home, Tupper Lake with the Rev. Rick Wilburn officiating. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m.

Mrs. Parry passed away on Thursday morning, November 28, 2019 at her home.

She is survived by her children, Clark Parry Sr. and his wife, Lucinda, of Holiday, FL, Pamela Terwilliger and her husband, Ronald, of Poughkeepsie, Jane Whitmore and her husband, Donald, of Tupper Lake, Clarence Parry Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Littleton, CO; seven grandchildren, Clark Parry Jr. and wife Franca, Owen Terwilliger and wife Hannah, Jordan Parry, Marcus Parry, Nathan Parry, Matthew Whitmore, Jamin Whitmore, four great-grandchildren, Caelyn Parry, Gian Parry, Rachael Terwilliger, and Elodie Terwilliger; daughter-in-law, Margaret Parry, two sisters, Doris Smith and her husband, George, and Lois Salisbury; one brother, John Clark; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Clarence Parry; her parents; and her brother, Richard Clark.

Mrs. Parry was born on Wednesday December 22, 1926 in Rome, NY, the daughter of the late Everson and the late Lulu Thompson Clark. Norma graduated from Rome Free Academy and later received her bachelor's degree in Education from SUNY Oswego in 1946.

She married Clarence Parry on June 27, 1948 at the First Baptist Church in Rome, NY with Rev. David Boswell celebrating. Clarence predeceased her on January 25, 2003.

She taught elementary school in Wallkill, Balmville, and Lowville N.Y. She retired from LP Quinn in 1992.

She was a member of the Tupper Lake Baptist Chapel where she was organist for many years. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She enjoyed learning and watching any sport her children and grandchildren played. She was a member of Tupper Lake Country Club where she enjoyed golf and skiing at Big Tupper with family. She has been a volunteer at the Wild Center for 16 years.
