Anne Louise Keeler Pierson, 88

Anne Louise Keeler Pierson passed away unexpectedly at her home in Castleton,N.Y. on May 17, 2018 at the age of 88.
Anne was born on January 28, 1930 in Tupper Lake (Faust).  She was the youngest child of Floyd and Nora Blanche Keeler.  Anne attended the schools in Tupper Lake graduating as valedictorian of her class.  
She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Albany College of Pharmacy and an master's degree in Biology from College of St. Rose.  
She was employed as a medical technologist at Samaritan Hospital in Troy and later employed by Sterling-Winthrop Research Institute in Rensselaer, N.Y. as a research biologist working there until her retirement.
Anne married Robert Pierson, the love of her life and her best friend, on May 1, 1950.  They enjoyed traveling and spent much time enjoying the outdoors which included many visits to the Wild Center. They especially enjoyed spending time at their boathouse on Lake George.  Anne enjoyed gardening, music and spending time with her friends.
Anne was predeceased by her parents, Floyd and Blanche Keeler,  her husband, Robert Pierson,  brothers Floyd Keeler, Jr.  Robert Keeler, Willard Keeler, Donald Keeler and her sister Jean Keeler.  Also, she was predeceased by sister-in-laws Kathleen Keeler, Isabelle Keeler and Dolores Keeler, and brothers-in-law, Lloyd Beck and Herbert Oksala.  
She is survived by two sisters, Helen Keeler Beck and Ruth Keeler Oksala, and sister-in-law Sarah Keeler.  
She did have the opportunity to attend Helen’s 100 year birthday party held in Tupper Lake last summer.  Anne is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Anne and her husband Robert is planned for a later date this summer with burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
