Emma Kavanagh, Campbell Casagrain to lead Class of 2025

The Tupper Lake Middle/High School and the local school district have announced this week the two class leaders for 2025: Emma Kavanagh, as valedictorian and Campbell Casagrain, salutatorian.

Emma Kavanagh is the daughter of Lora Kentile and Jessie Kavanagh of Tupper Lake. Emma was actively involved in extracurricular activities throughout high school, including soccer, Green Team, student council, and holding class offices.

She was also a member of the National Honor Society and participated in two prestigious fellowships—the Wild Center’s ClimaTeens and the Critical Action Lab (CAL) Fellowship.

Emma received the Environmental Scholars Award and the Academic Excellence Award from St. Lawrence University, where she plans to attend.

Campbell Casagrain is the daughter of Mary and Vaughn Casagrain of Tupper Lake. Campbell was actively involved in extracurricular activities throughout high school, including soccer, softball, track, Green Team, student council and Class Cabinet.

She was also a member of the National Honor Society and participated in two prestigious fellowships—the Wild Center’s ClimaTeens and the Critical Action Lab (CAL) Fellowship.

Campbell has received an impressive RIT Math and Science award and a scholarship to RIT. She plans to attend SUNY Canton to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Sciences.
