Patricia Ann Mitchell

With heavy hearts and sorrow we announce the passing of Patricia Ann (Gauthier) Mitchell who passed away peacefully on May 20th, 2026.

Patricia was born in Tupper lake to Eldrick and Blanche (Auclair) Gauthier. She dedicated her life to her family and will be remembered for her love, warmth, and generosity.

Patricia attended Holy Ghost Academy and graduated from Tupper Lake High School. She then married Arthur Gabriel Mitchell on December 26, 1960.

Throughout her life she worked as a secretary for the 1980 Olympics, and served many years at Maroun's Insurance Agency. She enjoyed camping, bowling, crossword puzzles, card games, and spending time with her family. Pat also enjoyed donating monthly to many different charities.

Patricia is survived by three daughters; Lorri Ann Beaudette, Amy Lynn Lavigne and Melissa Judee Mitchell; her grandchildren; Sarah (Brian) Douangratdy, Christopher Beaudette, Michael Beaudette, Katelynn Beaudette, Adam Lavigne, Madeson Lavigne and Dillon Mitchell, as well as eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia is predeceased by her son, David Arthur Mitchell, her husband Arthur Gabriel Mitchell, sister Janet Marie Hodge, and two brother in laws Steven Mitchell and Evan Hodge.

There was a graveside service at St. Alphonsus cemetery in Tupper Lake, New York on Friday June 5 at 11a.m.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Red Cross or Shriners Children's Hospital.
