Joan Dwight Brown, 94

Joan Dwight Brown, 94, of Athens, Alabama passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026.

She was born in Tupper Lake, to Edwin ‘Roy” and Mary Cote Dwight. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Donald Brown.

Survivors include one daughter, Alicia Rouleau (Guy); three sons Raymond (Claire), Douglas (Darby), and Steven (Alison); nine grandchildren, Zachary, Addison, Angelica, James, Christopher, Matthew, Allison, Emma and Jacob; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brown worked in Human Resources at Sunmount Developmental Center for over 25 years.

Her faith in God was unwavering and she loved her family above all else.

Joan loved being outdoors.
