Francis “Frank” Gregory Camelo

Funeral Services have been set for Frank Camelo who passed away at Elderwood of Uihlen, Lake Placid on Wednesday December 24 after a short period of declining health.

Frank was born on January 4, 1930 in Tupper Lake, the youngest child of Dominick and Maria (Tomasi) Camelo Sr.           

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake.

A Mass of Christian Burial with military honors took place at 11:00 AM on Friday April 17, 2026 at St. Bernard’s Church in Saranac Lake with the Rev. Martin Cline officiating.  An Elks service took place just prior to the mass at the church.

A reception immediately followed the mass from 12:30 PM to 3 PM at the Saranac Lake Elks Club in Saranac Lake.
