Dr. J. Michael Van Vranken, 88

Doctor J. Michael Van Vranken passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025 at the Hudson Park Rehabilitation Center in Albany, New York.

Michael was born on April 3, 1937 in Tupper Lake, he was the son of Harvey and Lillian (Corneau) Van Vranken.

Michael is survived by his sisters Judith Frey and Ann Iaria (Anthony). He is also survived by his brother Bruce Van Vranken and very dear friends Dr. and Mrs. Donald Mc Goldrick. Michael is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased in death by his parents and his brother Paul C. Van Vranken.

Michael graduated from Tupper Lake Hight School, Class of 1955. He attended the Albany State Teacher's College and then the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry. He had a successful private dental practice, retiring in 1995.

As per Michael's wishes, burial will be private at the convenience of the family at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Tupper Lake.
