MaryLouise Costigan, 63
MaryLouise Costigan, 63, passed away peacefully at Saratoga Hospital on February 13, 2025, after a recent history of medical issues. Born in Tupper Lake on March 31, 1961, daughter of the late John and Roberta Disotell Morris, she was a 1980 graduate of Tupper Lake High School.
MaryLouise met her husband, Christopher J. Costigan at Childs Nursing Home in Albany while working as nurse’s aides, shortly thereafter, he joined the US Navy and she embraced her role as a Navy wife, as they traveled around the world while starting their family.
They had two children, Sean E. and Teresa L. Costigan.
Most recently, she worked as an Activities Assistant at St. Margaret’s Center, Albany. She loved her role helping the children and their families through their medical journeys.
MaryLouise loved and excelled at cooking and enjoyed sewing. She was a Faith Formation teacher at the various churches she and her family attended and also an active member of the Capital District chapter Military Officers Association of America.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Christopher, son Sean, daughter Teresa, and brother Francis Morris. She was predeceased by her brother John Morris Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 2001 Route 9, Round Lake, NY 12151. Calling hours prior to mass, from 9-11a.m., will also be held at the church.
