In conjunction with her long and rewarding nursing career, Patty completed the Lay Preaching Program of Auburn Seminary in 1989 and went on to serve many local congregations and campsite ministries.
Patty’s greatest joys came from working with children, especially playing “Mrs. Santa Claus” during the holiday season. Patty also worked with children at the 4-H Camp Overlook in Owl’s Head, NY. She was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing, baseball, softball, and even shooting competitions. Patty was also a very talented seamstress.
