Fredrick “Pierre” Robare, age 93, of Madison, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at his home. He was born September 25, 1930 in Tupper Lake, to Frederick Joseph and Mary Ann (Smith) Robare. He married his wife, Linda Ann Talbot, on June 8, 1978 in Winchester, VA.
Fredrick was a U.S. Veteran of the Korean War where he served in the Air Force with the 82nd airborne, 3rd and 10th Para rescue, and was attached to the 5th Special Forces.
He was founder of Atlas Industrial & Ohio Contractors of Painesville Township providing industrial maintenance for Lake, Geauga and Cuyahoga Counties for 40 years.
He was a Member of V.F.W. Post 7754 of Fairport, F.O.P.A. Lodge 25 and the NRA.
He is survived by his daughters, Corinne (Danny) Tellier, Renee (Jeffery) Kuhns; son, Curtis Robare; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and soul mate, Linda Ann Robare; great-granddaughter, Cameron H. Kuhns; sister, Theresa Mary Pruonto; and brother, George Edwin Robare.
Private family services will be observed. Final Resting Place will be Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson. Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family at this time.
