On April 25, 1949, she was married to Charles N. Carrow in St. Alphonsus Church by Msgr. Domina J. Breault. Together they raised four children: one son David of Denis, MA., three daughters: Daphne (Tutti) Torno and her husband Dr. Paul Torno, Diane Dechene and her husband Michael Dechene, and Judi Snyder, all of Tupper Lake. She had four grandchildren: Collette (John) Loud of Bristol, CT, Eric (Kim) Staves of Odessa, FL, Evan (Brooke) Dechene and Matthew (Olivia) Dechene of Tupper Lake. Eileen was a communicant of St. Alphonsus Church and was a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She loved to pray for people.
Anyone who ever needed prayers, knew Eileen was the one to ask. She loved to knit and crochet and made many afghans for friends and for the sick. She was an avid reader and loved to bake. Her grandchildren especially loved gram’s cookies.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation, in her memory, to the Tupper Lake Rescue Squad.
