Lillian LaQuay, age 98, of Tupper Lake, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 with her companion cat, Kentucky, by her side.
Calling hours will be at Frary Funeral Home, Tupper Lake, from 10a.m. to 12p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022. A graveside service will immediately follow at Holy Name Cemetery.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband Garth, her parents Israel and Ella Bishop, her sisters Beatrice, Rayah, Dorothy, Rena and Theresa, and her brothers Leonard, Norman and Elmer. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Lillian was born on June 6, 1924 in Tupper Lake (Faust), the daughter of Isreal and Ella (Jarvis) Bishop. She attended local schools. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, cooking, baking, crocheting. She was known for her homemade bread. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters and spending time at her camp. She had a love of children and animals.
