A Funeral mass for Judith Brunette, 83, of Tupper Lake, will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 10 a.m at St. Alphonsus Church. Burial will take place in the Gale Cemetery following services.

Judith was born on February 22, 1938 in Saranac Lake, the daughter of Leo Baker and Clara Salls Baker. She grew up in Childwold and graduated from Tupper Lake High School. Judy had a long and distinguished career with the Tupper Lake National Bank. She retired from the bank in 2000 after forty years of service as assistant cashier and branch manager.

Judy was very active in the Business and Professional Women’s Club over the years and held many positions within the organization. Judy was an avid reader and an excellent seamstress. She was unmatched in all needle work from crewel to embroidery. Her real skill was crocheting and she handcrafted many beautiful pieces in her lifetime.

Judy was previously married for 42 years to Donald Tellier who passed away in 2002. Judy married Kenneth Brunette in 2008. They loved to travel and even took a trip of a lifetime to Italy. Ken and Judy thoroughly enjoyed their twilight years together. Judy was predeceased by Ken in January of 2021.

Judy is survived by her loving stepchildren, Lori (Ray) Martin, Tom (Karen) Brunette and Andy (Nancy) Brunette; grandchildren; Kelly Martin, Katherine Reeder, Jay Martin, Scott Brunette, Nick Brunette and Chris Brunette, and many great grandchildren who have fond memories of their “Gramma Jude”.

Donations in Judy’s memory may be made to the Neighborhood House in Keen Valley, New York.
