Alphonse Joseph Breault passed away at Mercy Living Center on Saturday, March 6, 2021 where he had resided for the past six years. Per his request, there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Frary-Stuart Funeral Home, Tupper Lake.
Alphonse is survived by all seven children; Denise Roy of Allen, MS, Suzeann Jones of Deltona, Florida,, Lynn Bell of Waterboro, ME, Roger Breault of Tupper Lake, Ann Marie Furnia of Tupper Lake, Rene "Bernie" Breault of Heuvelton and Ray Breault of Mt. View, N.Y. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was born June 23, 1924 in Notre-Dame-des-Bois, Quebec, Canada, the son of Joseph and Ellen Carrier Breault, the oldest of thirteen children. Alphonse moved to the United States and received citizenship at 18 years of age. He worked in many lumber camps throughout New England and Quebec in his younger years.
Alphonse married his wife, Jeannine Beaudoin of 64 years in Biddeford, Maine and raised a family of seven children. Alphonse and his family lived in Tupper Lake from 1953 until his retirement in 1987 when he and Jeannine moved to Zephyrhills, Fl. They lived in Florida until the passing of his wife in 2011.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and socializing with friends.
