Richard A. Lemieux, 77

Richard A. Lemieux, 77 of Mooers Forks, formerly of Tupper Lake, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.

Born October 4, 1942 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the son of Joseph and Margaret Lemieux.

He attended Clarkson University and was a U. S. Navy Vietnam veteran.

He was a self-employed carpenter. Richard loved to fly and also enjoyed gardening and fishing.

He is predeceased by his parents and a younger brother, Michael.

Left to cherish Rick's memories are his wife, Cheryl; two sons, Rick Schuttig and Nathan Lemieux; one daughter, Tara Clarke and her husband, John. He is further survived by three grandchildren, Susan, Ezekiel and Alexander. Also surviving Rick are three brothers, Joseph Jr. and his wife, Rosemary of Piercefield; James and his wife Alice; Wayne and his wife Julie and one sister Carol King, all of Tupper Lake.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
