Gloria Ellen Bombard, 74, passed away unexpectedly in the hospital on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Born on April 22, 1945. She was the daughter of George Baker and Pearl M Theriault.

She worked as a home health aide for North Country Home Health Services and she did a lot of private care duties.

She loved to go camping. She enjoyed sitting outside watching the birds and nature. She loved visiting with her family. She loved to live life to the fullest. Her favorite insect was the butterfly and her favorite bird, the red cardinals.

She is survived by her life companion Francis Miner, her sisters June Hutchinson, Darlene Bechler and her husband Phillip Bechler, her brothers Pat “Babe” Baker, Donald Baker and his wife Karen Baker, Kevin Baker, her sons Jim Phelps, Roy Phelps his wife Nancy Phelps, Charlie Phelps with his wife Peggy Phelps, her daughter Rose Morris her husband Jim Morris. She’s also survived by several grandchildren: Felicia Branch, Christian Phelps, Thomas Smith, Zachary Smith, Nissa Phelps, Timothy Allen, and Sarah Phelps. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, also by her son Steven Phelps, her brothers George, Richard, Robert, Fred, Joseph, and David Baker.

Calling hours were held on Monday, July 15, at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home.
