Christopher A. Kmack, 64
Christopher A. Kmack, 64, of North Kingstown, died Monday, April 30, 2018 at South County Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was the husband of Kathleen J. (DeMarco) Kmack.
Born in Tupper Lake,  he was the son of John Kmack and Genevieve (Salamy) Kmack who predeceased him.
Mr. Kmack was employed as a recreation supervisor at the Bridgewater State Prison until his retirement.
He was a graduate of Biscayne College where he earned his bachelors degree in physical education.
Christopher was an avid sports fan and loved the Rhode Island coastline. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Chris was fortunate to have his sister, Mary Kay living nearby. She was his angel, providing unwavering support to him as his health deteriorated in recent years.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his two loving children: Joseph H. Kmack and Kimberly Kmack of Fall River. He was the cherished grandfather of Aliyah, Skylar and Somiyah.
He is also survived by his sister Mary K. Kmack Smith of North Kingstown, two brothers, Stephen Kmack of North Kingstown, and Michael Kmack of Tupper Lake..
A memorial gathering was held on Tuesday, May 8 at 11 a.m. at the Cranston-Murphy funeral home of Wickford, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the American Heart Association will be appreciated.
