Reta A. Wamback, 83

It is with great sadnessthe family of Reta A. Wamback announces her death at age 83, on Wednesday, October 12, 2016.  Reta of Long Lake passed away at the Tri-County assisted living center in North Creek where she had resided for the past two months.
Reta was born in Tupper Lake  on November 16, 1932 to Percy and Clara Stanton.
She  was married to Arnold (Bud) W. Wamback on August 5, 1955 in Long Lake.  He predeceased  her on September 11, 2011.
Reta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  She was a homemaker and worked at various businesses in Long Lake.  An active member of the Long Lake community, she was a volunteer member of the Long Lake Rescue Squad for several years and an active member of the United Methodist Church in Long Lake.
Reta is survived by  her three children; Keith A. Wamback Sr. (Darlene), Pamela W. Bradley and Judy H. St. Amour, all residing in Long Lake, her siblings- Arthur Stanton of Catskill N.Y. and Jean Flowers of DuBois PA. Also surviving Reta are seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are scheduled for  1p.m., Saturday October 22 at the Long Lake cemetery.   Family and friends are invited to the Long Lake Diner immediately following the ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Long Lake Rescue Squad.   Arrangements are with the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home.
