Library budget vote passes; Rick Wilburn re-elected to board
The annual budget of the Tupper Lake Public Library passed in overwhelming fashion, as it typically does, at last Tuesday’s special library vote.
The library’s financial plan for the 2025-26 year passed 72 to six, with one absentee vote cast in the affirmative.
Re-elected to another full five year term was Rick Wilburn, who received 72 votes. Rachael Wild received one vote and there were six blank ballots cast in the library board member vote.
The vote count was similar to last year’s results when 73 people voted for the budget, with two people dissenting.
