Easter Egg Hunt was busy place Saturday

The turn-out of kids to the Erin’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt was a bit lighter than normal given Saturday’s rain and chilly temperature, but those who came were excited just the same, and gathered the 6,500 colorful eggs scattered across two areas of the L.P Quinn Elementary School grounds. Among the thousands of eggs of all color were six golden ones, which earned the finders to a basketful of Easter gifts. Missing this year was the snow cover of recent years, which moved the event indoors at least once. Organizers said they preferred Saturday’s drizzle to the snow of recent years.
