Tupper Lake Community Red Cross Blood Drive Thursday, December 11

The need for blood is constant, and although always in short supply, the shortage continues to be compounded by the almost daily disasters and weather events throughout our country.

Blood is in such short supply that the need is CRITICAL.  Only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for blood for patients in our community.

Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and many of us (family, friends, ourselves) will need blood in our lifetime.

The December 11 drive will be at the Library from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. There are still many slots available, both for whole blood donors and power red donors.  All donors will receive a $15 Amazon gift card.  Save a life (or 2 or 3), donate blood.  To make an appointment, go online to redcrossblood.org.
