It's Charlie behind that mask!

For the past 15 holiday seasons in our community, Tupper Lake's hardworking and very dedicated bell ringer, Charlie Blackman, has been raising thousands of dollars for the good work of the Salvation Army from his perch in front of Shaheen's Supermarket. This year is Charlie's 16th at his holiday post. Since Thanksgiving he has been ringing his bell each week day, spreading good cheer to everyone who passes that busy corner. In the face of this year's growing pandemic, Charlie has appropriately donned his Salvation Army mask to keep kettle donors safe as they come and go into the popular supermarket.
