First graders clean up Washington Street park

On Friday, April 22, the first graders of LP Quinn Elementary School visited the Washington Street Park in order to perform a civic “clean up” duty in honor of Earth Day 2016. The students left the park a nicer place to visit after collectively gathering a considerable amount of litter. Kudos to first grade good citizens of   Mrs. Ellis, Mrs. Pickering, Mrs. Dukette and Miss Summer! (photos provided)
