Halloween events planned on community trail, Park St. next Monday
The Town of Tupper Lake and the Tupper Lake Chamber of Commerce are teaming up this year to create another spooky Halloween Trail Walk on October 31 from 5p.m. to 8p.m.
The sometimes frightening promenade down the village's new pedestrian trail will begin at the civic center and conclude at the downtown train station, where lots of ghoulish fun is planned.
Candy will be collected along the trail and best costumes will be judged at the station.
Children 12 years and under are expected to be accompanied by a parent, organizers say.
Before the Halloween Walk on the trail the chamber and the Park Street businesses will be staging the annual Park Street “Trick or Treat” event beginning at 2p.m.
So there's no shortage of “trick or treating” events here next Mondy.
